About Us
About us
- I was seven years old when I started working alongside my dad on home renovations. Not watching. Working. Holding boards. Cleaning up. Learning how to measure, cut, and build things the right way. Around our house we called it The Sarber Way. That was the standard. And when something was finished the way it should be, we called it Sarber Strong. The Sarber Way meant no shortcuts. No cutting corners. If it was worth doing, it was worth doing right. That standard stuck. In May of 2020, I went to work for James Dappen at Dappen Construction. I stayed there until March of 2025. Those five years taught me how projects truly come together. How trades coordinate. How structural mistakes can compound if they’re not caught early. In March of 2025, I started Sarber Construction LLC. On my first two projects, I learned quickly that estimating without locking in fixed subcontractor pricing creates risk. I also missed a structural detail early on that my framer caught immediately. We corrected it properly before moving forward. That experience shaped how we operate today. We build fixed-price contracts. Key trades are brought in early. Structural details are reviewed before numbers go out. We don’t guess anymore. We have a system that eliminates mistakes before they ever reach the job site. One of the projects I’m proud of is the Bruso project in Arlington. A 480 square foot covered deck with a full gabled roof. Tongue and groove ceiling. Recessed lighting. Picture-framed decking. Cable railing. We even brought in a crane to set the glulam beams properly. It didn’t feel like a deck when it was finished. It felt like part of the house. I’m a licensed General Contractor. I’m married to my wife Kaianna. We’ve been married since September 18th, 2021. We have two daughters, Krissy and Helly. We attend Atonement Free Lutheran Church in Arlington. When I’m not building, we’re outdoors. Hiking. Camping. Skiing. Swimming. Spending time with family. I don’t build projects meant to last ten years. I build them to last a lifetime. The Sarber Way. Sarber Strong.
- That’s how we build.
Discipline
- We build the Sarber Way, or we don’t build it at all. If something isn’t done right, we fix it before moving forward. Cutting corners is not an option. Discipline protects the homeowner, protects the structure, and protects the long-term value of the investment.
Order
A job site should never feel chaotic. We show up on time. We follow the schedule. We clean up before we leave. Materials are organized and debris isn’t left scattered across your property. Order keeps projects moving and reduces stress for homeowners.
Craftsmanship
Details matter at every stage of a build. Framing should be straight. Rooflines should sit clean. Trim should be tight. If something looks off, even slightly, we redo it until it’s right. We don’t build to “good enough.” We build things to look and feel solid.
Honesty
We’re clear and straightforward from the beginning. Pricing is built carefully and presented upfront. If something changes, you hear it from us immediately. If we make a mistake, we own it and fix it. Trust matters more than convenience.
